Hercules is a 2014 American 3D excitement fantasy adventure film directed by
Brett Ratner, written by Ryan J. Condal and Evan Spiliotopoulos and starring
Dwayne Johnson, Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell in addition to John Hurt. It is based
with the graphic novel Hercules: The Thracian Wars. Distributed jointly by
Paramount Design and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer,[4] it was released on July 25, 2014.
It is just one particular of two Hollywood-studio Hercules films released in
2014, the other being Peak Entertainment's The Legend of Hercules.
The film
earned $244 million on a $100 million budget and won mixed reviews from critics,
but praised the action sequences and Johnson's actors. Hercules was released on
Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and DVD on November 4, 2014 by Paramount Home Entertainment.
Hercules is the leader of a trustworthy band of mercenaries comprising the
spear-wielding prophet Amphiaraus of Argos, the knife-throwing thief Autolycus
of Sparta, the feral warrior Tydeus of Thebes, the Ebay archer Atalanta of
Scythia and his particular nephew storyteller Iolaus of Athens. Hercules is said
to be the demigod son of Zeus, who completed that this legendary Twelve Labors,
only to make betrayed by Hera who drove them insane and caused him to hard his
wife Megara and their young children during a visit to King Eurystheus.
Throughout the film, it is no clearly established that Hercules is particularly
